A Typical Track Day with Cornerspeed
We ride rain or shine!
Arrive early to get set up - gates at all tracks open at 6:30am.
Tech opens at 7:00am. Bring your bike, helmet and completed Medical/Tech Form with you through Tech.
VIR: Tech is the small red barn-looking between the main scoring tower and the restaurant.
CMP: Tech is at the covered area near Pit Out.
You MUST attend the Rider's Meeting. The meeting will be announced and is usually outside of the Tech shed around 8:15am.
If you do not attend
the rider's meeting, you will not be allowed to ride until you can be
given the day's details by an instructor.
First session rolls at 8:30am. Advanced/Racer Group is out 1st; IntermediateA is out 2nd; IntermediateB is out 3rd; Students are out 4th.
Lunch is typically 12:30pm-1:30pm.
Afternoon sessions start again at 1:30pm and end at 5:00pm. Student Mock Race is held 5:10pm-5:30pm.
Other Information
Trailer Drops: You may drop your trailer at VIR the night before the event between 5:30pm and 6:30pm. Main gate will close at 7:00pm and you must be out unless you are camping. Camping is available: VIR will collect $35.00 per tent and $50.00 per RV. If you wish to use an electrical box, VIR collects a $25.00 fee.
Tires: Our tire truck is set up outside of the Tech shed. To swap your tires, please remove your wheels, clean them, and bring them to the trailer. First come, first served. If you purchased tires from us, mounting & balancing is included in the price. Other tire swaps cost $40.00 per tire set.
Special notes for CMP: CCS charges EVERYONE $35.00 to enter the facility. If you arrive Friday, the gate fee is $35.00 CASH ONLY, but if you leave the facility by 7:00 pm Friday night, you will receive a $25.00 refund. THURSDAY EVENING RATES: The fee for Thursday evening is $45 per person ($35 gate fee plus $10 to cover overnight security). If you come in on Thursday night REGARDLESS OF HOW LONG YOU STAY, you will be charged the additional $10 which is not refundable. If you are not staying for the weekend and depart before 7:00 pm on Friday, you will be refunded $25 if you turn in your wristband at the gate.
